Meet the founder

A Business and Events Management graduate from UWE Bristol, I first discovered my love for weddings during my university dissertation. Despite being convinced that a career in the corporate world was on the cards, my passion for the wedding industry had other ideas. In 2021, I took the opportunity to become Events Manager at one of Wales' leading wedding venues, where I gained invaluable experience across every aspect of event operations, from front of house and back of house management to leading a team of more than 20.

From there, I moved into the world of wedding planning, joining one of the UK's leading wedding planning companies. Over the following years, I had the pleasure of planning and coordinating hundreds of weddings, guiding couples through every stage of their journey and bringing their ideas to life.

Somewhere between planning hundreds of weddings and getting engaged myself, I realised it was time to take a leap of faith and build something of my own.

And so, We Are Weddings was born.

With plenty of ambition, a little bit of courage and no real backup plan, I've thrown myself into creating a business that reflects everything I love about weddings: thoughtful planning, beautiful details, incredible people and celebrations that feel entirely personal.

I'm loving every minute of this new chapter and couldn't be more excited about what lies ahead for We Are Weddings.

Everything from lead up conversations and her being so accommodating of last min changes to the day plan all the way through to day off and even afterwards. I had to convince my fiancé of the need of getting a coordinator for the day and as soon as we had our run through call the month before that’s when he got fully excited for the day as he knew we were in safe hands.
